Circa 1934 Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & Others Multi-Signed Baseball. The greatest slugging tandem in baseball history has never looked better, each Yankees legend claiming his own side panel in black fountain pen ink rating 8.5/10 or better. We suspect that, for many, the appeal will be a ball that provides the appearance of a $50,000+ Gehrig single, and Ruth likewise offers the look of a solo model, though of course the Babe is far more common in that format than his younger sidekick. Fellow Hall of Famers Heinie Manush and Joe Cronin inhabit the other two panels in slighly less bold format, with Dave Harris rather brazenly claiming sweet spot honors for himself.

The ball was consigned to auction by the son of Harris' nephew, who mistakenly reports the vintage as 1933 in his letter of provenance (American League baseballs had two-toned stitching that year, assuring this ball was manufactured no earlier than 1934, Ruth's last year with Gehrig and the Yankees). It would appear that the ball saw action in the Yankees/Senators contest before its retirement as an autographed collectible, as the ball exhibits moderate soiling that clearly preceded the signings. A fine relic virtually unchanged from the date of its creation. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Letter of provenance from Dave Harris' family.
