    Description

Circa 1932 New York Yankees & Chicago Cubs Signed Baseball. The cast of characters assembled on the presented "National League" sphere strongly suggests that the derivation of the artifact is the 1932 World Series, best remembered for Babe Ruth's apocryphal "Called Shot." Ruth (4/10) assumes his standard sweet spot duties, with his sidekick Lou Gehrig (3/10) appropriately at his side. The Yankees and Cubs managers McCarthy (each 6/10) are here as well, as are very light exemplars from Chicago Hall of Famers KiKi Cuyler and Rogers Hornsby. We can make out eight autographs in total, but it's quite a cast of characters. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
