    Description

Circa 1930 Jimmie Foxx Single Signed Baseball. Only Mel Ott tops Double-X for rarity when it comes to the illustrious 500 Home Run Club, and this example will fill that empty space on the trophy shelf quite well. Foxx' black fountain pen sweet spot signature has mellowed slightly with age, but still projects at a very conservative 6/10. The Official League ball that serves as its home is moderately and evenly toned with some inconsequential spotting near the signature, with the black and red stitching effectively mimicking the Official National League balls of the era. A more than respectable representation of a ball appearing on many a hobbyist's wish list. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
