    Description

Circa 1930 Hack Wilson Signed Album Page with George Burke Photograph. Hack Wilson experienced his greatest years in the five-year run from 1926-30, batting in the mid-.300's leading the league four of those years in home runs, and two years in RBI. Passing away at a young age in 1948, Wilson remains a difficult autograph find for collectors, with demand far outweighing supply.

This lot consists of an 3x4.5" album page signed by Wilson (8/10), along with three other players on the front and four players on the verso. Also included is a George Burke stamped photograph of Hack with the usual Burke markings. Due to the bright white photograph stock, it is likely this image was released later in the 1940's or 1950's, possibly by Burke's partner George Brace, but it remains a George Burke original photograph that would look remarkable framed with the signature. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
