Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Single Signed "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" Baseball with Box. We've always loved "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" balls (though we're quite often contacted by folks who believe that the facsimile autograph of the stamping is the genuine article). Here we present an example that did indeed make it into the hands of its celebrity endorser, who applied a black fountain pen ink sweet spot autograph that survives at 5/10 overall boldness. The ball itself is even finer, due in large part to its decades of seclusion within the rare and desirable original box picturing the young slugger early in his Yankees tenure.
