    Description

Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. The four-season term of service for American League president Ernest Barnard (1928-31) assures a narrow range of potential vintage for this sphere supplying the most important signature in the sports collectibles game. The Babe's side panel offering is prefaced by his standard "Sincerely," and projects with 7/10 boldness beneath a vintage coating of shellac. We report that the panel to the north contains recognizable but imperfect signatures from fellow Hall of Fame Yankees Tony Lazzeri and Lefty Gomez, and a few other autographs on the ball have faded beyond legibility. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
