    Description

Circa 1930 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball with Aaron, Banks. Long ball brilliance is the clear theme here, as the Bambino and Iron Horse, who redefined the sport with their unprecedented power, are joined by the next generation of sluggers. Ruth takes sweet spot position on this Official American League ball (likely Harridge, but presidential stamping is illegible) in 8.5/10 blue ballpoint ink, with Gehrig equally bold on the western panel. Hammerin' Hank Aaron, the man who assumed Ruth's career crown, appears in 9+/10 ink on the opposing sweet spot, with Banks present on a side panel once in 7/10 ink then again in 9+/10 blue sharpie. The ball is quite dirty but none of the signatures are affected, indicating the ball was almost certainly used in a Depression-era Yankees game before its presentation to the first two signers. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
