Circa 1929 Mickey Cochrane Signed Large Photograph to Tony Lazzeri. Direct from the estate of the Hall of Fame New York Yankees second baseman comes this exceptional signed image from another pre-war legend and Cooperstown resident. A magnificent and oversized (9x12") action shot of Connie Mack's celebrated catcher tracking a pop foul is inscribed in 8/10 black fountain pen ink, "To my friend Tony, the best in the business, Mickey Cochrane, Athletics." Scattered creasing must be noted, though only rare does it penetrate the emulsion, therefore causing little visual distraction. Definitely one of the most desirable Cochrane signed images in the hobby. Included is a signed letter of provenance from Lazzeri's son. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
