Circa 1927 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The welcome appearance of quotation marks around George Herman Ruth's famous nickname suggests this autograph dates to early 1928 or before, and since the signature is on the larger side, we'd edge our estimate of vintage toward the end of his punctuation utilization. As such, this black fountain pen exemplar could very well date to his fabled sixty home run season of 1927, the high water mark of both the man and the franchise he embodied. Autograph rates 6/10, and the non-official ball is toned but free of any significant visual distractions.
