Circa 1926 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball with Philadelphia Athletics. The Ban Johnson presidential stamping on the presented OAL sphere ensures a vintage of 1927 or earlier, as he was replaced by Ernest Barnard for the 1928 season, and the quotation marks around "Babe" in Ruth's 3/10 autograph further solidify the dating. The legendary slugger was at the height of his powers when he jumped aboard this apparently game used ball autographed by five members of the surging Philadelphia Athletics--Mickey Cochrane, Eddie Rommel, Cy Perkins, Jimmy Dykes and Stan Baumgartner, all found on the 1926 roster. These signatures average 5/10. A fine relic from a late 1920's dominated by the Yanks and the A's. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
