Circa 1905 Adrian "Cap" Anson Signed Page. The first man to reach the mythical 3,000 hit milestone provides approximately one and a half autographs to his son's wife upon this final page of a typed letter on his Chicago City Clerk's Office letterhead. His black fountain pen closing signature, "A.C. Anson," rates a bold 9/10, as does his brief handwritten notation afterward, "Answer by return mail, ACA." We believe the full last page of the correspondence is here but have not examined it outside of the frame and cannot state this definitively. One original mailing fold is apparent, but no other issues to note. The page is framed beside a modern photographic print of Anson in civilian clothing to final dimensions of 11x18". Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
