    Circa 1900 Lord Stanley Signed Cut Signature Card from The Broderick Collection, PSA/DNA Authentic. Frederick Arthur Stanley was a British-born politician who served as the sixth Governor General of Canada, developing a strong affection for the sport of hockey in that capacity. In 1892, Stanley donated his namesake trophy as a challenge cup for Canada's best amateur teams, but by 1909 the suitors for this fabled hardware would be only professionals. His autograph is a rare but essential artifact for the serious hockey collector, and it appears here in this artfully constructed one-of-one trading card. Black fountain pen ink rates 9+/10.
