    Description

1969 Jackie Robinson Signed Check. The barrier breaking Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson made payment for some new clothes with this check drawn from his "Freedom National Bank" account. All ink is applied in Jackie's solid blue ink, as well as his flawless closing "Jack R. Robinson" signature. While bank stamping does obscure to some degree a portion of Robinson's writing, the autograph itself mostly clear clear of these cancellations. No fold lines visible with a single bit of paper loss near the top center edge. Included is a signed 1993 letter of provenance from Jackie's widow Rachel. LOP from Rachel Robinson. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
