1961 Branch Rickey Signed Check. In addition to the role he played in signing Jackie Robinson and integrating other African-American's into Major League Baseball, Rickey's other worthy contributions to the game include drafting Clemente, introducing the batting helmet, advocating for big leagues expansion, and helping to create the modern minor league farm system. He was also the general manager of four St. Louis World Series championship teams, including the famed Gashouse Gang. He signs this 1961 check in 9/10 blue fountain pen.
