1956 Bert Bell Signed Check. It is well documented that Pro Football Hall of Famer Bert Bell led the University of Pennsylvania Quakers to the 1917 Rose Bowl and later served as Commissioner of the NFL and made that institution the most preeminent sports attraction in America. In between, Bell was the co-founder of the Philadelphia Eagles. Nearing the end of his Commissionership (and life), Bell signed this check to J.E. Roberts in the lower right corner, on March 29, 1956 for a grand total of $13.25. The 2.75x8.5" note exhibits mild wear with a single crease down the center. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
