Description

1955 Wilcy Moore Signed Check. As a thirty-year-old rookie Wilcy Moore stepped straight into New York Yankees pinstripes to become an integral part of the 1927 Murderer's Row squad. One of the first to gain notoriety as a relief pitcher, Moore racked up a 19-7 record with 13 saves and a 2.28 ERA. Here we offer a 1955 check which Moore has written to a John C. Jenkins for some well drilling he needed done. Signature is a 10/10 and remarkably strong considering that over 50 years have passed since its original application. A 3.5x5" photo post card of Moore is also included with the lot. LOA from PSA/DNA.
