1953-69 Kid Chocolate, Sugar Ray Robinson, Jake LaMotta & Carmine Basilio Signed Checks Lot of 5.

UPDATE: After the catalog went to print, this item was encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic.

Kid Chocolate (aka The Cuban Bon Bon) became his nation's first world boxing champion when he knocked out the defending World Junior Lightweight champion Benny Bass in 1931. He signs this Spanish language relic with "Habana, Cuba" bank stamp, "Eligio Sardinas." The check has extensive wear and paper loss but the bold ink signature is 9/10. The Raging Bull signs two of his personal checks in 9/10 blue ballpoint. Carmine Basilio was a world welterweight and middle weight champion, defeating Sugar Ray to claim the latter. He signs in 9/10 blue ink. Still considered by many as, "pound-for-pound," the greatest fighter ever, the original Sugar Ray signs in 9/10 blue ballpoint. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
