    Description

1952 Smoky Joe Wood Signed Check Since 1900, only 13 pitchers have won 30 or more games in a season and Smoky Joe Wood is one of them. His best year was in 1912 when he went 34-5 with a 1.91 ERA. Wood also tied the great Walter Johnson for posting 16 consecutive wins. To do so, Wood had to beat Johnson and did so on a 2-hit 1-0 victory.

The offered bank note is dated September 12, 1952, mild wear appears to be exhibited throughout and the check has been signed in solid blue ballpoint ink for the sum of $5.39. Single fold intersects the first "o" in "Wood." Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
