    Description

1945 Herb Pennock Signed Personal Check. He was a member of the World Champion 1914 Athletics, the 1916 Boston Red Sox and four Yankees Series winners between 1923 and 1932, so let's hope this check is as lucky for the winning bidder as Herb himself was for the teams he represented. This tough personal check was filled out and signed entirely in the hand of the Hall of Fame southpaw just three years before his passing in 1948. Pennock's black ink is solid, drawing fifty dollars in cash from a bank in Wilmington, Delaware. Punch coding does not interfere with the signature, bank note also displays some ink staining and creasing. Reverse features a "Philadelphia National League Club" stamping. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
