    Description

1943 Ty Cobb Signed Check with Pete Rose Autograph. The former and reigning Hit Kings share space on this check made payable to the Internal Revenue Service by Cobb in his capacity as president for the United Apartment Company, a real estate interest in the Georgia Peach's ever-expanding financial portfolio. All ink, including the "Tyrus R. Cobb, Pres." signature, is applied in the Dead Ball legend's 9/10 black fountain pen ink except for the black ballpoint addition of Pete Rose at upper edge. Check exhibits bank punch coding and a single vertical fold line to the left of center, otherwise no issues of note. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
