1936 Babe Ruth Signed Check. From one Hall of Famer to another. Ok, that's not exactly true, as Albert Spalding passed away in 1915, over two decades before the great Bambino filled out this check to the sporting goods company bearing the baseball pioneer's name. It still makes for a fine conversation piece, as the Babe was likely buying a few dozen baseballs to autograph for his legions of young fans. All ink registers at a strength of 9/10 or better, and the highly desirable check format, complete with "Babe Ruth" stamping at left edge, presents very well with a single vertical center fold but no other flaws to mention. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
