    1922 Frank "Home Run" Baker Signed Check. Not just any Punch and Judy hitter can be bestowed the nickname "Home Run." Frank Baker was baseball's preeminent power source of the Deadball Era. Four times he led the American League in home runs. This was when hitting a home run was cause for celebration. Offered is a check Baker made out to "Wm T. Harrison" for $50. It is signed on the bottom in 9/10 black ink "J. Franklin Baker" and dated to 1922 - his final year in the big leagues. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
