    Description

Burleigh Grimes Single Signed Baseball. Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964, Burliegh Grimes was famous for his temper on the mound, at one point reportedly firing a pitch at a batter in the on-deck circle. He is best known and remembered as the last pitcher in the majors to legally throw the spit-ball, which he over the course of his 19 year big league career. Grimes attached his signature to the sweet spot of the ONL (Feeney) baseball blue ink. Baseball and signature are both near-perfect. LOA from PSA/DNA.
