    Rod Carew Signed Game Issued Bat. Rod Carew is a zonian and was born to a Panamanian mother on a train in the town of Gatún, which, at that time, was in the Panama Canal Zone. Rod Carew won the American League's Rookie of the Year award in 1967 and was an All-Star in every year but his final one, 1985. In his career, Carew won seven batting titles. Adirondack bat is signed by the popular long-time Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame infielder with "Best Wishes" sentiment and date of 1982. The Model 381B bat shows minimal use at best.
