    Description

1990's Joe DiMaggio Signed "1941" Bat. The most desirable of Joltin' Joe autographed lumber is represented here as number 1764 of a limited edition of 1941, a figure which should bring to mind the historic fifty-six game hitting streak to all but the most casual baseball historian. Exacting in every detail to the signature model Hillerich & Bradsby wielded by the Yankee great during that campaign, this one differs only in the edition stamping and the 10/10 blue sharpie signature that resides just above. That sheen you might notice in the catalog photography is the original shrinkwrap placed over DiMaggio's signature by the good folks at Steiner, who orchestrated the signing and affixed their holographic authenticating sticker near the end of the barrel. COA from Steiner. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
