1958 Los Angeles Dodgers Signed Miniature Bat. One of the coolest pieces of Los Angeles Dodgers memorabilia to come down the pike in recent memory, the presented "mini bat" (22" in length) was autographed by the Bums the night before they defeated the San Francisco Giants six to five in front of 78,672 fans at the LA Memorial Coliseum in the first west coast Major League contest. Though a heartbreaking relic to those fans left behind in Flatbush, this souvenir of the welcome dinner hosted by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association is pure gold to residents of the Golden State, autographed by over twenty-five players including Reese, Snider, Koufax, Drysdale, Hodges, Dressen, Podres, Labine, Gilliam and many more. A thin stripe of damp staining affects eight signature (only one severely), but none listed above. Otherwise all signatures rate 8/10 or better, and the bat is likewise well preserved. A special keepsake literally from the eve of a new era in baseball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
