    Description

1946 New York Yankees Team Signed Bat. After three years of service to the United States military, Joltin' Joe returned to an anxious Bronx fanbase in 1946, driving in 95 runs in just 132 appearances to prove he hadn't lost his swing. Celebrating that triumphant return is a DiMaggio retail model Hillerich & Bradsby signed by a bulging roster of thirty Yanks. Highlights include DiMaggio, McCarthy, Dickey, Rizzuto, Henrich, Stirnweiss, Etten, Rolfe, Gumpert and more. Signature quality remains remarkably strong for fountain pen on wood, averaging a consistent 7/10 to 8/10. Team signed lumber from the first half of the twentieth century is extremely scarce, and few could match the presented example for condition. A rare opportunity. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
