Tom Gorman, Glen Woodling, Jim Lemon, and George Uhle Single Signed Baseballs. Tom Gorman was the first player ever picked by the Seattle Pilots in the June 1969 draft. He signed this OAL baseball in blue ink. In 1956 Jim Lemon hit 27 home runs and led the AL in triples and in double plays by an outfielder. Jim signed this baseball in blue sharpie. George "The Bull" Uhle was widely credited as the innovator of the slider, naming it that due to the motion of the pitch. George signed this OAL baseball in black sharpie and it's personalized "To Jack Lytle". Gene Woodling played for several teams and had a nice career as a player, but his greatest contribution for baseball came off the field. He worked to bring about and institute a pension for major league players. Woodling signed this OAL baseball in blue ink on the sweet spot. LOA from PSA/DNA.
