    Sportswriter Jerome Holtzman Single Signed Baseball.
    A legendary Chicago sportswriter for over a half century, Holtzman also served as the official historian of Major League Baseball from 1999 to 2008. He was also honored by the Hall of Fame and The BBWAA in 1991 wit the J.G. Taylor Spink Award.

    One of his more notable contributions to the game of baseball was the invention of the "save" statistic in 1959, adopted 10 years later it became the first new stat sins RBIs in 1920.

    Holtzman signed his ONL (Coleman) baseball, which shows light toning, in blue ink. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
