Description
Satchel Paige Signed Baseball. Thrilling ace Satchel Paige dazzled the Negro Leagues and was already heralded as one of baseball's premier pitchers by the time he made it to the majors at age 42. The unorthodox hurler thrilled at the Major League level, as well, earning HOF entry and near universal reverence despite the racial tensions prevalent at the time. The greatest pitching talent ever produced by the Negro Leagues provides a nice collectors grade Satchel Paige baseball. The baseball appears to be a single signed with some toning and marking. The baseball manufacturer is obliterated but the ball features nice red stitching. Signed in steel-tip fountain pen, the signature reads "Best Wishes from Satchel Paige."
