Description

Monty Stratton Single Signed Baseball. Monty Stratton posted 15 wins in each of his final two seasons of his major league career, which was cut short in 1938 when he had his leg amputated after a hunting accident. He actually made it back to the diamond, pitching in 1946 in the East Texas League to the tune of an 18-8 record with an artificial leg. Here the vintage OAL (Harridge) orb that we present here sports a neat sweet spot signature from Stratton himself. While the ball has been soiled in spots, it still remains a nice example for display. LOA from PSA/DNA.
