    Description

Mickey Mantle And Ted Williams Single Signed Baseballs. Two of the most talented and charismatic players ever to step on a ball field are represented in this lot of signed baseballs. Each ball is of the OAL (Bobby Brown) variety, and exhibit NMT/ MT ballpoint pen signatures. The baseballs also rate in NMT/MT grade, and have only the slightest toning. Ted Williams remains the last man to hit over .400 for a complete major league baseball season. He finished the 1941 season with a .406 batting average, going 6-for-8 during a season-ending double-header to push himself over the .400 mark. Mantle was famous for his power both right- and left-handed; he hit 536 home runs in his career. Mantle was voted the American League's Most Valuable Player in 1956, 1957 and 1962, and won seven World Series championships with the Yankees before he retired. JSA Auction LOA
