    Description

Late 1980's President Richard Nixon Multi Signed Baseball. After serving eight years as Vice President under Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon narrowly lost a 1960 presidential bid against John Kennedy. He returned, however, in 1968 and won the office, as well as earning reelection in 1972. Halfway into his second term, though, the Watergate scandal hit and Nixon became the only U.S. president to resign the office in 1974. Signed Nixon baseballs are always in demand, and this representation is a fine example. Penned between the sweet spot and right panel of an ONL (Giamatti) baseball, the very lightly toned orb offers a strong 8.5/10 signature. Five additional signatures are on the ball, but the identification of them eludes us. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
