    Description

    Late 1980's Billy Martin Single Signed Baseball. There have been several tenuous relationships in baseball, but in modern times, perhaps none more so than that of George Steinbrenner and Billy Martin. The owner and manager rarely saw eye to eye, and as a result, Martin served five different terms as skipper of the Yankees. In Martin's own words:

    "Sometimes I would do just the opposite of what George (Steinbrenner) wanted me to do, because I won't let anyone tell me how to manage. If I'm going down the tube, I'm going to do it my way."

    The offered baseball is an OAL (Brown) bright white ball with a nice 8/10 Martin signature in blue ball point pen on the sweet spot. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
