    Description

Late 1930's Kenesaw Mountain Landis Single Signed Baseball. Despite Landis' tremendous relevance to the sport, the man best remembered for banishing the Chicago Black Sox' conspirators is rarely seen in a solo role on a signed baseball, so this should be an exciting opportunity for the serious collector. He appears on the sweet spot of an OAL (Harridge) ball, writing "To John Holdin, from his kinsman, Kenesaw M. Landis." This "full name" variation is particularly scarce for Landis, who typically signed with his "K.M." initials instead. The ink has survived seven decades admirably, presenting at a conservative 7/10 today. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.
