    Description

Late 1920's Eddie Collins Signed Baseball. A rare but imperfect single signed Collins ball launched some major fireworks in the Heritage Sports April 2011 auction, commanding just over $22,700 in spirited bidding and indicating just how tough and desirable is the signature of this inaugural class Hall of Famer. This sphere is undoubtedly a prettier model, but we must report that the ball has undergone professional restoration to remove other signatures that once joined Collins' All that is left now is an 8.5/10 black fountain pen sweet spot signature, provided on the supremely desirable medium of an OAL (Johnson) ball. Collins is tough on any ball, and his sweet spot positioning here makes this one the perfect addition to your Hall of Fame single collection. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
