James Leavelle Single Signed Baseball And Photograph(Handcuffed To Lee Harvey Oswald). The citizens of Dallas Texas were excited to see President Kennedy's motorcade in downtown Dallas November 23 rd 1963. The excitement turned to horror when sniper Lee Harvey Oswald shot the President perched in the book depository building. James Leavelle is the former Dallas, homicide detective who was escorting Lee Harvey Oswald through the basement of Dallas Police headquarters when Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby. was the first to interrogate Oswald after his arrest, recalled joking to Oswald before the transfer, " 'Lee, if anybody shoots at you, I hope they're as good a shot as you are.' He kind of smiled and said, 'Nobody's going to shoot at me.' We offer a OML (Selig) baseball with a Mint signature and inscription "Dallas Police". Leavelle has also signed and personalized an 8" 8x10" photo of Ruby shooting Oswald. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
