    Description

Early 1980's Hank Greenberg Single Signed Baseball. Before there was Jackie Robinson, it was Greenberg who endured the threats and taunts of bigotry at the ballpark, answering the anti-Semites in the same way that Robinson did the segregationists--with quiet strength and Hall of Fame ability. His sweet spot signature is rendered in his preferred black felt tip ink, a medium which has survived the passing decades with impressive 9+/10 boldness. OAL (MacPhail) ball is toned but signature is not diminished. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
