    Description

Early 1940's Washington Senators Reunion Signed Baseball with Walter Johnson. A reunion/Old Timer's Day is our best guess for the derivation of this ball, as the OAL (Harridge) stamping dates to the 1940-45 era but the roster doesn't quite match up for that time (for example, Elmer Gedeon played only in 1939). Best here are the Hall of Fame autographs of Walter Johnson, Bucky Harris and, for some reason, Lefty Gomez, each rating 7/10 in strength. Dutch Leonard is 9/10 on the sweet spot. Seventeen autographs are here in total, all within a point or two of 8/10. Ball is toned an amber shade from a vintage shellac coating. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
