    Description

Early 1930's Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & Ben Chapman Signed Baseball. The iconic Golden Age duo from the Bronx is joined by the Yankees' rookie superstar, who served as the American League's starting center fielder for the first edition of the All-Star Game in 1933. The power slugging pinstripers appear on an OAL (Harridge) sphere featuring the beautiful two-tone stitching that would be discontinued after the 1934 season, creating a keepsake with aesthetics to match its historic import. Ruth and Gehrig each project at a solid strength of 6/10, from the sweet spot and side panel respectively. Chapman is two or three points lighter at the southern hemisphere. Scattered surface wear throughout accounts for the autograph scores as listed. An attractive means of adding these essential Yankees to your autograph holdings. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
