    Description

Early 1920's Major League Stars Multi-Signed Baseball with Evers, Rixey. A sweet spot notation reading "1922 Boston Braves" becomes a mystery upon further inspection, as the thirty-four autographs on the tobacco-toned horsehide bear no connection to that squad. That may be for the best, though, as the team lost 100 games for a reason, namely lack of star power. Instead we find the likes of Johnny Evers, Eppa Rixey, Max Carey, Harry Hooper, Connie Mack, Joe Wood, Bing Miller, Nick Altrock, Joe Judge and Steve O'Neill among the signers. Autograph quality has been served well by the antique coating of shellac, preserving an average of 7/10. An intriguing relic with some monster pre-war names. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

    Guide Value or Estimate: $1,200 - $1,500.
