    Description

Early 1920's Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson, Ty Cobb & More Signed Baseball. While the passing of time has not been as kind as it might have been to this OAL (Johnson) baseball, we're pleased to report that two of the boldest autographs present are those we list in the auction title. The Hall of Fame Senator Walter Johnson is unmistakable on the sweet spot, rating 4/10, while Ty Cobb to his left merits the same score. Eddie Collins, Bob Veach and Ken Williams are the others present that can be detected by the naked eye, ranging from 3/10 to 6/10, but a black light will prove that the Babe once did indeed hold this sphere in his hand. Surface wear is the main culprit that has sent the signatures into hiding, recalling a time when kids knew no better and took these autographed balls to the sandlot. Thankfully those youngsters left behind two of the Dead Ball Era's finest in Cobb and Johnson. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
