Dutch Van Kirk Single Signed Enola Gay Story Ball. Most famous for navigating the Enola Gay when it dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Dutch Van Kirk used 9/10 blue ballpoint on this OML (Selig) ball to tell the story of that fateful day of Aug. 6, 1945 dropping the bomb on Hiroshima. He goes into great detail also mentioning a second bomb America dropped on Nagasaki. Great piece from the last living crewman from Enola Gay at 89, who no longer does public autograph shows. Auction LOA from JSA.
