Description

Circa 1980 Joe DiMaggio & Ken Keltner Signed Baseball. We can assure you that it was DiMaggio who signed the presented OAL (Brown) ball first, and it's not just because he claimed the sweet spot position. Similar to his personal ban on Marilyn Monroe material, the Yankee Clipper outright refused to sign anything related to the man who ended his 1941 hitting streak at fifty-six games. Later, it has been said, Keltner instituted the same embargo against the victim of his flashy fielding at third base, so it's unlikely you'll ever find another dual-signed ball featuring the Yankees and Indians stars together. You definitely won't find one with superior signatures, as each of the autographs rate a genuine 9+/10. The OAL (Brown) ball exhibits some scattered toning, but nothing that distracts the eye in any significant way. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
