    Description

Circa 1980 Batting Champs Multi-Signed Baseball. Unique sphere derives from the collection of one of the very first hobbyists to create "theme balls," bringing together players from multiple teams and era who share a common distinction. League-leading batting average is the common thread here, with the OAL (MacPhail) sphere featuring the following: Billy Williams, Torre (light), Kaline, Oliva, Ted Williams, Appling, Terry, Vernon, Groat, Olerud, Lynn, DiMaggio, Lansford, Tommy Davis, Rose, Kuenn, Brett, Kell, Aaron, Mize, Buckner (very light) and Paciorek (never a Batting Champ, however). Signatures average 7/10 and ball exhibits toning. There's room for more if you want to keep the project going. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
