    Description

Circa 1970 Roberto Clemente Signed Baseball. The closest Cooperstown resident to sainthood, this star Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder sacrificed his life in the service of others just months after recording his 3,000th career hit. Here we find his 9/10 blue ink signature on the sweet spot of an ONL (Feeney) ball, sealed beneath a light coating of shellac. While it would appear to any casual viewer to be a genuine single signed specimen, we must admit that professional restoration has removed others which once joined Roberto. A fine alternative for the collector unwilling to pay the exorbitant price a genuine single in this condition would command. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
