Circa 1970 Frank Frisch Single Signed Baseball. A speedy switch-hitter who earned a pair of World Championship rings for both the New York Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals, Frisch adorned this ONL (Feeney) ball for an admirer late in his life. His black felt tip sweet spot signature remains as bold as the day it was applied, rating a solid 9/10 on the lightly toned sphere. A top-tier example of a rather elusive single on many a collector's wish list. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.This lot derives from the collection of the late Reverend G. Richard McKelvey, a true pioneer of the baseball autograph collecting hobby. For nearly eight decades, Reverend McKelvey actively compiled his collection of in-person autographs, and is widely recognized as the innovator of "theme balls," paving the way for the wildly popular 500 Home Run Club and 300 Win Club baseballs of today.
