    Description

Circa 1961 Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris Signed Baseball. It's one of the most sought after dual-signed baseballs in the hobby, but this one is an extra special variation, signed back in the days when the M&M boys were at their hard-slugging height. Collectors are well aware that the vast majority of baseballs blessed by the hands of numbers Seven and Nine date to the 1970's and 1980's, but the Mick's sweet spot signature (6/10) is clearly his early Sixties format. Maris (8/10) appears at his typical lower side panel position, also in period style. The ONL (Giles) sphere suggests possible World Series vintage as the Yanks spent the vast majority of their time in the presence of American League models. A special piece for the cultured collector. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
