Circa 1953 Rogers Hornsby, Frank Frisch Signed Baseball. High-grade ONL (Frick) ball appears to be largely the 1953 Chicago Cubs team, but a few autographs don't fit the mold. Regardless, the major appeal of this ball are the bold Hall of Fame autographs found side by side at the sweet spot. Hornsby's blue ink autograph rates 9/10, as does Frisch's in green. Also present in strong green ink is fellow Cooperstonian Ralph Kiner. Hornsby initially tried to sign in green ink but the pen appeared to fail, leaving an imperfect second autograph from him behind. The ball remains lightly and evenly toned, and perfect for display. LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
