Description

Circa 1950 Harry Hooper Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA EX+ 5.5. He became the first man to hit two home runs in a single World Series game on October 13, 1915, and remains one of just two players (Heinie Wagner is the other) to win four World Championships as a member of the Boston Red Sox. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame over a half century after his final at-bat, Hooper presents an enormous challenge to collectors of Cooperstown singles, and here we present a fine specimen. Hooper's side panel autograph rates a conservative 7/10 on the strict grading scale of PSA/DNA. They assess the moderately toned baseball of unknown model (stamping faded from visibility) a 4/10 for the combined grade as listed. This is the first Hooper single we've ever offered. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA. Please be advised that seals on this ball cube may have been broken for imaging purposes. However, the ball is pictured on the PSA/DNA letter. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
